Ivan Toney has become the first Brentford player to ever be nominated for a Premier League award. The striker has been short-listed for the EA Sports Premier League Player of the Month award for March. See the full story and list of nominees here.

Ivan played three games in March and scored five goals. He grabbed a hat-trick in Brentford's win over Norwich City. He then scored two more the following week in a win over Burnley. Three of those goals were penalties and he won two of them himself when he was fouled as he was about to score.

Eight players are on the list of nominees for the prize. Matty Cash, of Aston Villa, and Chelsea pair Trevor Chalobah and Kai Havertz are on the list, along with Andrew Robertson of Liverpool. England captain Harry Kane and his Tottenham Hotspur team mate Dejan Kulusevski have been nominated. Arsenal's Bukayo Saka completes the list.

The winner will be decided by a public vote. Brentford fans have a chance to vote for Ivan. Voting closes on Monday, 28 March.
