There were a record-breaking number of attendees at Brentford FC Community Sports Trust's Football Development Centre Trials last month. Trials for potential players were held at Gunnersbury Park. Hundreds of youngsters braved the pouring rain to go through their paces. See below.

The Trust’s football programme offers young people of any ability and those with potential, an opportunity to receive a high-quality football education experience, enabling them to improve in a player-centred environment. Participants have the opportunity to attend weekly training sessions at multiple venues. Sessions are delivered by FA and UEFA qualified coaching staff.

Players represent Brentford FC in a structured development match programme against other professional club Trusts. Opponents including Fulham, Ipswich Town, Oxford United and Reading. Matches take place during the holiday periods and do not conflict across participants ‘grassroots football’ commitments. More trials are coming soon.
