Brentford FC Women’s First Team are set to face off against Sport London e Benfica in the league later today, Sunday 6 March. The game will kick off at 3pm and will commence at the Bedfont Sports Ground, home of both The Bees Women’s sides.

The First Team have enjoyed a successful first season at Step Six following promotion last year. They currently sit third in the table on goal difference, although they have played four games more than both Sutton United and Dorking Wanderers in first and second. With two league games left to play, The Bees will be looking to maximise their points and put pressure on the teams above them.

Their opponents currently sit fifth in the table, seven points behind Brentford and having played three fewer games. In the reverse fixture, which was on the opening day of the season, Sport London e Benfica picked up the three points. This time around The Bees will have an opportunity to claim victory and potentially move into the top two spots.

Having won two and lost two of their last four fixtures in all competitions it would be fair to say Brentford have been slightly hit or miss in recent weeks. Head Coach Karleigh Osborne has been impressed with most his sides performances this season but knows they need to be more clinical in front of gaol to elevate them to the next level.

You can guarantee entertainment and if the girls bring their shooting boots a hatful of goals will ensue. The Club are aiming to attract a record-breaking crowd, it will be free entry on the day and a good standard of football so try and get yourself down to the ground!

Stadium Address: Bedfont Rec Ground, Hatton Rd, Feltham TW14 9QT.
