Two Brentford B players helped England Under-19 to a win in Rotherham yesterday. England beat Armenia 4-0 in the second of three vital matches in six days. Goalkeeper Matthew Cox and defender Daniel Oyegoke won caps in the win.

England are playing the elite, final, stage of the qualification process for the UEFA European Under-19 Championships. The event will be played in Slovakia this summer. England are involved in a four-team round-robin group to decide who will take a place in the tournament.

England picked up their second win in two matches yesterday. They followed victory over Republic of Ireland on Wednesday with a 4-0 win against Armenia. Two goals in each half gave them the points. Matthew started the game in goal for England, playing all but the final moments, while Daniel was a second half substitute.

The group will be decided by England's third game, against Portugal in Chesterfield on Tuesday, 29 March. Portugal have also beaten both Ireland and Armenia. Portugal currently have a better goal difference so England need to win the game in order to progress.

Both Brentford B players have been regularly involved with England at youth level. It was Matthew's eighth England cap. He has played for his country at Under-17 and Under-20 level as well as the five Under-19 caps he has earned. Daniel has nine Under-19 caps and has played 16 times for England in total.
