Brentford will play in the ePremier League Final this evening. The Bees have been in fine form all weekend and won their Semi-Final earlier this afternoon. They triumphed in a penalty shoot-out and will face Leeds United or Norwich City in the deciding contest in the next few hours.
The event is being held at Here East in Queen Elizabeth Olympic Park and players from the 20 Premier League sides were in action all day yesterday, Saturday 26 March, with eight sides making it through. Czohino and Sam Brewster represented The Bees and teamed up to take part in a series of one-on-one matches against pairings from all other clubs to fight for the chance to win a portion of £100,000. Their run has continued through to the final itself.
The Bees came through the group stages yesterday to reach the last eight. Aston Villa were dispatched this morning and The Bees beat Crystal Palace this afternoon on penalties. They will go for glory this evening.
The first game saw Sam Brewster take part in a 0-0 draw in the Semi-Final on the Xbox, which set it up for the second contest. Czohino, also known as Peace Chirwa, took the lead in the PS5 second leg but could not hold on and the tie went to extra time. Sam took the reins for the final stages and was taken to penalties. He was faultless, scoring all four of his and saving two as The Bees got the win.
The two day event started yesterday with the group stage and Brentford's representatives shone. They finished top of Group A and were unbeaten all day. See more here.
The final will start at around 7.15pm with Sam in action first. Watch Live and keep up with the action across Premier League channels (YouTube, web, Twitter and Facebook). Stay tuned and watch our #ePremierLeague Bees in action!
