The female players in Brentford FC Community Sport Trust's post-16 group had a special invitation towards the end of the season. The Trust runs a post-16 education and football programme for boys and girls. The female players were involved in an exhibition match against Queens Park Rangers.

The Bees were invited to play at Kiyan Prince Foundation Stadium against the side representing QPR in the same programme. See the full story here and pictures from the day can be seen on the Trust's Facebook page here. A video diary of the day has also been produced.

The players earn educational qualifications while playing games and representing Brentford. Players can study for A Levels or a BTEC while training and playing games in competitive leagues. There are groups of male and female players.

The programme is run in association with West Thames College. Players get the chance to player competitively regularly and some have gone on to join professional clubs. See more here.
