Brentford FC Community Sports Trust used the half term holiday to get some matches for the youngsters in their Football Development Centre. The Trust's young players were off school last week. There were a series of games arranged.

Brentford FC Community Sports Trust’s football programme offers young people of any ability, and those with potential, an opportunity to receive a high-quality football education experience, enabling them to improve in a player-centred environment. Participants have the opportunity to attend weekly training sessions at multiple venues, delivered by FA and UEFA qualified coaching staff. They can also represent Brentford FC in a structured development match programme against other professional club trusts.

The Bees took on Chelsea FC and Colchester United's foundation teams at the start of the week. They then welcomed Crawley Town FC and Reading FC's foundation squads. More on the matches can be seen on the Trust's Facebook page here.

The Trust regularly host trials for new players interested in joining the football programme. Please contact [email protected] for more information. More on the Trust's football programmes can be seen here.
