Both players got minutes with Matthew playing the full 90 as he made some stunning saves in the match whilst Daniel was a 56th minute substitute for the Young Lions. England fell behind early in the game when Fabio Miretti netted from the penalty spot. On 58 minutes England drew level through Alex Scott’s header and the winner came just eight minutes from time through Liverpool’s Jarell Quansah to seal themselves a place in the Final.

The side will now face Israel in the Final after they overcame France in the other Semi-Final. England have already beaten Israel at this tournament as Ian Foster’s side claimed a 1-0 win over them on Saturday in what was their final group match of the tournament. Kick-off for the match is 7pm on Friday.

Both Brentford players will be aiming for minutes in the Final as they have been involved a great deal over the course of the tournament. Matthew has played 90 minutes in three of the four games so far whilst Daniel has featured in all of the matches, three times as a substitute and his 90 minutes came in the win over Israel a few days ago.
