It was a match that Turkey dominated throughout as they went ahead through DoÄŸukan Sinik. The second goal then came courtesy of the same player just 12 minutes later as the side took a two-goal advantage into the break. Serdar Dursun then netted from the spot on 56 minutes before grabbing another to make it 4-0 on 81 minutes. Two goals in two minutes in the 89th and the 90th minutes then made it six as Yunus Akgün found the net before Halil, who played the full game and assisted the first two goals, got on the scoresheet himself. Turkey are top of their Nations League group on six points, level with Luxembourg who are second due to Turkey’s significant goal difference.

Turkey face Luxembourg away on Saturday before facing Lithuania once again on Tuesday next week with that match to be played on home soil.
