Spain and Portugal played out a 1-1 draw in Nations League A2 last night at the Estadio Benito Villamarín in Seville.

It was the hosts who had the better of the game, Luis Enrique's side taking a 25th minute lead through former Chelsea striker Alvaro Morata.

However, Portugal stayed in the game and netted with eight minutes to place courtesy of Braga winger Ricardo Horta.

David, who won his maiden cap in March against Albania, was an unused substitute in the south of Spain.

Fresh from their opening day point, Spain now head to Prague to take on Czech Republic this Sunday, kick-off 7.45pm UK time.

This evening's Nations League action sees Denmark, with Christian Eriksen, Christian Nørgaard, and Mathias Jensen all in the squad, get their League A campaign underway with a game against reigning Champions France at the Stade De France.
