Christian Eriksen played the full 90 minutes while Mathias Jensen featured off the bench as Denmark registered a famous 2-1 Nations League victory in Paris last night.

After a goalless first-half, it was the reigning Nations League champions who got the scoring underway at the Stade De France through Karim Benzema. However, Andreas Cornelius levelled things up inside the final quarter before stunning the home crowd with an 88th-minute winner.

That goal gave Denmark the perfect start in Nations League A1 ahead of their trip to Austria on Monday.

For Christian, last night's game was his 113th for Denmark while Mathias was appearing for the 17th time at international level, all of which have come while a Brentford player.

Christian Nørgaard missed last night's game with the injury which kept him out of our season finale against Leeds United but is expected to feature for his nation over the coming ten days.
