Bees to face Brighton behind closed doors in July

Brentford’s pre-season programme will include a behind closed doors match against Brighton and Hove Albion. The Bees will travel south for the match on Tuesday 26 July. This will be strictly behind closed doors with no fans allowed.

There will be coverage of the match from Brighton. A stream will be produced by the hosts and will be shared on Brentford FC channels for fans to watch. More information will follow in due course.

Brentford will play six matches as part of their preparations for the 2022/23 Premier League season. Five of these, including the match against Brighton, have been confirmed. Four will be open to fans.

The pre-season friendly programme will begin on Saturday 9 July with a trip to Boreham Wood. A game against VfL Wolfsburg will be played in Wolfsburg on Saturday 23 July. The Bees will also host Real Betis Balompié on Saturday 30 July.

Brentford will be in south-west Germany for a pre-season training camp from Tuesday 12 July until Tuesday 19 July and will play VfB Stuttgart on Saturday 16 July. It is planned there will be another game in the area on Tuesday 19 July. More information will be announced when confirmed.
