The final day of June brought about the return of First Team players to Jersey Road ahead of the 2022/23 Premier League season.

With players that featured in international fixtures over the summer having extra rest, the initial group returning to Jersey Road included Rico Henry, Ethan Pinnock, Ivan Toney, Vitaly Janelt, Bryan Mbeumo, Josh Dasilva, Sergi Canós, Shandon Baptiste, Mads Roerslev, Mads Bech, Tariqe Fosu, Saman Ghoddos, and Kristoffer Ajer.

Some familiar faces returned with Dominic Thompson, Luka Racic, Ellery Balcombe, Charlie Goode, and Marcus Forss back in West London after time away with loan clubs. Fin Stevens and Paris Maghoma also enjoyed their first day as members of the First Team squad following their promotion from Brentford B during the summer.

Looking to build on a memorable first campaign back in the top-flight since 1947, we get underway this time around with a trip to Leicester City on Sunday 7 August. There will be five full weeks of training for those that are back today before that first day of the season. Our opening pre-season game will be against Boreham Wood next Saturday, 9 July. Games have also been confirmed against VfB Stuttgart, VfL Wolfsburg, Brighton and Hove Albion, and Real Betis.

Stay tuned to our website and social channels over the coming days and weeks for more from training ahead of the new campaign.
