We will face French side Racing Club de Strasbourg Alsace in a friendly match on Tuesday 19 July.

The game will be played at the home of SV Aasen, in the South West corner of Germany. The full address is Ob. Wiesen, 78166 Donaueschingen. The match will kick off at 1.30pm local time.

Strasbourg finished sixth in Ligue 1, the French top tier, last season. They spent most of the campaign in the upper reaches of the division and missed out on qualification for UEFA competition by just three points. They are heading into a sixth season in the top tier of French football and had their best finish for more than 40 years last season.

This match will come at the end of a training camp in Germany. We started our pre-season campaign with a win over Boreham Wood and fly to Germany on Tuesday 12 July for a week of training, including two matches, as the build-up to the Premier League season continues.

Fans are reminded that there are two other games in Germany open to spectators.

The Bees will face VfB Stuttgart on Saturday 16 July. The match will be played at the Zeppelinstadion Friedrichshafen des VfB Friedrichshafen, at the very southern tip of Germany, close to the Austrian border. The following week, Saturday 23 July, there is a game against VFL Wolfsburg at the AOK Stadion.

Tickets for the matches against Stuttgart are still available.

The match against Strasbourg will be played in a small venue and any extra details on admission will be shared if needed.

We would like to thank SV Aasen for agreeing to host the match once permission was granted by the German football federation (DFB) that a game between two teams from abroad could be played in Germany in front of fans.
