Loan Round-Up: Potential action for Halil Dervişoğlu this weekend as Galatasaray aim to bounce back

The latest details on our loan players

14 January 2022

There hasn’t been any recent action for our players out on loan this week but two could potentially get game time this weekend.

Halil Dervişoğlu will be aiming to help Galatasaray return to winning ways following defeat last time out to Giresunspor. The team will be away from home against Hatayspor in the Turkish Super Lig and they currently sit 12th in the league table.

Lachlan Brook could make his first appearance for Adelaide United since returning to the club on a loan deal until the end of the season. His appearance will be subject to the relevant international clearance coming through in time. United will take on Melbourne City, who sit two places above Adelaide in the league table in fifth. United go into the game off the back of a 1-1 draw with Melbourne Victory and Lachlan will be aiming to make a winning start with the club.

There was midweek action for AFC Wimbledon but Aaron Pressley wasn’t involved as he continues to recover from injury. Wimbledon were beaten 1-0 away from home by MK Dons as Matt O’Riley’s goal won the match for the Milton Keynes side. Wimbledon also had Nesta Guinness-Walker sent off on 36 minutes therefore had to play the rest of the match with 10 men. Next up for The Dons is a home match with Morecambe this weekend.
