Loan Round-Up: Game time for Halil, Lachlan and Joel at the weekend

Halil Dervişoğlu played 62 minutes for Galatasaray in the Turkish Super Lig at the weekend but it was a defeat for the side against top of the table club Trabzonspor.

Alexandru Cicaldau had put the side ahead from the penalty spot after half an hour but two late goals from the away side saw Galatasaray fall to their fourth consecutive league defeat and they now sit 15th in the league table.

In Australia, Lachlan Brook played the final 23 minutes for Adelaide United as they came from behind to win 3-1 away at Brisbane Roar. The home side went ahead on two minutes but a double from Craig Goodwin either side of Stefan Mauk’s penalty earned United the points. The side are fifth in the league table and are one point behind Wester United in fourth. Next up for Lachlan and his teammates is another away match as they take on Newcastle Jets.

Joel Valencia made his first appearance for Agrupación Deportiva Alcorcón as he came off the bench to play the final 20 minutes against Mirandes. The match ended goalless and the side remain bottom of LaLiga 2 following back to back draws. The side travel to Leganes on Sunday this week.

There was another draw for AFC Wimbledon as Ollie Palmer’s opener in the 70th minute was cancelled out by Daniel Jebbison seven minutes later. Aaron Pressley is still missing through injury for the side who current sit 19th in the league table.
