The 18-year-old, who has been a part of the B Team since his arrival in the summer of 2020, made his second appearance of the season for Thomas Frank's side on Saturday at right wing back and he was pleased to gain important experience in a First Team environment.

He explained: “I thought I did well. In the first half I was able to get up and down the right, putting crosses in and having some shots. I played a bit more defensive in the second half as that’s how the game panned out, but defensively I felt that I was solid.

“This is what it’s all about, playing in front of crowds and the game means something so you have to win. It means a lot and it’s the sort of experience which is good for my progression."

On how the side claimed the win, Fin was pleased to play his part as The Bees secured themselves a place in the next round. The youngster also felt playing alongside the likes of Kristoffer Ajer in defence helped his performance.

“It was a really tough game and we did well to come out with a win," explained Fin. "These games are never easy, especially when you come up against an opponent like Port Vale in the FA Cup away from home.

“He (Kristoffer) was always talking to me from behind which helped a lot. He brought the ball further up the field and it was really good to play alongside him."
