The draw for the Fourth Round of the Emirates FA Cup will take place later today, Sunday 9 January. The draw will take place at Wembley Stadium at approximately 4.50pm GMT. It will be held following the tie between West Ham United and Leeds United on ITV where it will be shown live as well as on Emirates FA Cup social media channels.
The draw will be conducted by former England goalkeeper David James and Arsenal Women and England international Leah Williamson. They will select 16 Fourth Round ties that will be played on the weekend of Saturday 5 February. They will also be pulling Brentford from the hat.
Brentford secured their place in the Fourth Round yesterday afternoon. Bryan Mbeumo came off the substitute's bench to score a hat-trick as The Bees beat Port Vale 4-1. Marcus Forss got the other goal as Brentford reached the last 32 for the fourth year in a row.
Brentford will be ball number 19 in the draw. A full list of the numbers can be seen here. The draw will also be published on our channels when it is made.
Brentford have been paired with Leicester City in the Fourth Round for the past two seasons. Both ties were played in West London and won by Leicester, who went on to win the cup last season. The last time Brentford got past the Fourth Round was when they beat Barnet in a replay in 2019 before losing to Swansea City in the Fifth Round.
