Deji, who began his career within the youth ranks at Manchester United, joins following a trial period with the young Bees and he will add further depth to the side ahead of the second half of the campaign.

The 19-year-old, who was born in Ireland, joined OGC Nice in September 2020 and was a regular training member for the Ligue 1 side. Whilst in France, Deji’s game time has come in reserve fixtures, but regular matches have been difficult to come by for the youngster due to the impact of the Covid-19 pandemic on youth football in France.

Whilst with Manchester United Deji featured regularly in the Under-18 Premier League and also made appearances in the FA Youth Cup and the EFL Trophy. Deji will link up once again with Ben Hockenhull and Max Haygarth from their time at Old Trafford.

Discussing Deji’s arrival on loan, Brentford B Head Coach Neil MacFarlane said: “Deji has electrifying speed and we've been interested in him prior to his move to Nice. Our recruitment team have done a fantastic job in producing a trial game recently with the highest performing players. He did really well and we're pleased to bring him in. It's a good opportunity for Deji to keep his career moving forwards.

"We will push him relentlessly, as we do with all of our players, and hopefully he can have a really fruitful time here. He eliminates players with his speed, he likes to get at defenders, and hopefully he can add goals and assists at the top end of the pitch. We hope that Deji can buy into the culture within our group and if he can do that then we believe he can bring something to this Club."
