Brentford FC Community Sports Trust's Post-16 team were in action last week. The Bees took a team representing Crystal Palace at the Gunnersbury Park sports hub. Brentford ran out 2-1 winners.

The game was in the National Football Youth League Cup. The Bees have made it through three rounds so far. They had a 2-1 lead at half time in the match last week and got over the line.

The Bees are also going well in the South Premier League. They have won nine of 13 games so far and sit second in the table. More pictures from the game can be seen on the Trust's Facebook page here.

The players are part of a group that earn educational qualifications while playing games and representing Brentford. Players can study for A Levels or a BTEC while training and playing games in competitive leagues. See more on the programme here.
