The young Bees will once again be in action abroad having recently been involved in the Atlantic Cup in Portugal where they took on Breiðablik, Brøndby IF and Halmstads BK. The tournament gave the side the opportunity to take on senior opposition and they’ll once again have a tough test ahead of them when they take on the Ligue 1 side.

Monaco currently occupy sixth place in Ligue 1 after 25 matches this season. So far they have won 10 matches, drawn eight and lost seven which puts them on 38 points. Last time out they drew 1-1 with Bordeaux away from home. Bordeaux took the lead on 22 minutes before Monaco were reduced to 10 men on 34 minutes when Aurélien Tchouaméni was sent off. Monaco earned a point through a Marcelo own goal on 67 minutes.
Philippe Clement is in charge of Monaco and he took the role in January this year after leaving Club Brugge. Clement’s playing career saw him turn out for teams such as Genk, Coventry City and Club Brugge, who he took charge of permanently in 2019.
