Marcus Forss and Yoane Wissa have received recognition for their performances in the Carabao Cup this year. The competition came to an end yesterday as Liverpool won the Final. The Team of the Tournament was announced and the Brentford pair were in it.

Liverpool lifted the trophy at Wembley Stadium yesterday, Sunday 27 February. They beat Chelsea after a lengthy penalty shoot-out. Brentford reached the Quarter Final of the cup before losing to Chelsea, the second year in a row The Bees have lost of the losing finalists.

Ahead of the final, the Carabao Cup organisers revealed the Team of the Tournament. The team was selected based on ratings from the WhoScored.com website. Marcus and Yoana were selected.

Marcus played in all four of Brentford's games in the tournament. He scored five goals, including four in a Third Round win over Oldham Athletic. He also contributed an assist in the win at Stoke City in the Fourth Round.

Wissa missed the game at Stoke through injury but started the other three matches. He scored two against Oldham and also grabbed one in a win over Forest Green Rovers. He contributed two more assists against Oldham.
