Starting out in the UK and the Sky Bet Championship, there was another start for Marcus Forss at Hull City as his side took on Fulham. Marcus played the first 72 minutes of the match but they were beaten 1-0 with Aleksander Mitrovic grabbing the game’s only goal. The defeat leaves Hull 19th in the league table and they travel to Sheffield United on Tuesday evening where the forward could well come up against fellow Bee Charlie Goode.

As for Charlie, he was an unused substitute last time out for the Blades as they drew 0-0 with Huddersfield Town at the weekend. Going into their match with Hull they are eighth in the league table.

In Sky Bet League One, there was yet another 90 minutes for Dom Thompson as he helped Ipswich Town to a 0-0 draw with MK Dons. The result leaves the side ninth in the league on 48 points and they will now be readying themselves for a home fixture with Burton Albion on Saturday. Aaron Pressley’s AFC Wimbledon also claimed a draw against Sunderland in the same division at Plough Lane as the score finished 1-1. The B Team forward is on his way back to fitness following injury and he played a part in the side’s narrow defeat to Halmstads BK in the Atlantic Cup last week to build fitness.

Ellery Balcombe provided some penalty shootout heroics as he made his Bromley debut in the FA Trophy. The side beat Tonbridge Angels 3-2 on penalties following a 1-1 draw. Ellery proved crucial as he saved from Joe Turner to help the side progress and they now face Stockport County in the National League on Tuesday.

Looking to foreign shores, Lachlan Brook played the first 45 minutes for Adelaide United in their 1-1 draw with Wellington Phoenix in Australia. Walter Sandoval opened the scoring but United ensured that they claimed a point when Bernardo Oliveira found the net in stoppage time. Adelaide are fourth in the table on 15 points and face Melbourne City away on Tuesday.

On Monday Mads Bidstrup played 90 minutes for FC Nordsjælland in their 4-2 win over Helsingborg as the side prepare to face Brøndby IF in the league on Sunday.

Fellow Dane Luka Racic also earned game time recently as his HB Køge side drew 0-0 with Nykøbing FC on Saturday. He will be looking to gain more minutes in another friendly at home to Lyngby on Saturday ahead of their return to league action on 27 February.

In Spain, Joel Valencia played the final 32 minutes for AD Alcorcón as they were beaten 2-0 at home by Tenerife. The side are next in action on Sunday against Fuenlabrada.
