Marcus Forss grabbed his first goal for Hull City as they drew 1-1 with Queens Park Rangers in the Sky Bet Championship at the weekend.
The forward put the side ahead on 26 minutes with a close range finish which crossed the line after hitting the crossbar. QPR then levelled through Ilias Chair as the points were shared to leave Hull 20th in the league table and they will now look to Barnsley at home on Tuesday evening.
In the same division, Charlie Goode made his first appearance for Sheffield United as he helped them to a 4-0 win over Swansea City at home. A relentless first half saw them go 3-0 up before Morgan Gibbs-White got his second later in the game. The side are in the play-off places now as they sit sixth on 50 points.
In Sky Bet League One there was another 90 minutes for Dom Thompson at Ipswich Town as they beat Burton Albion 3-0 at home. Kayden Jackson put the side ahead early on before two second half strikes put them in full control. They are now ninth in the table and they play Cheltenham Town at home on Tuesday. In the same division, Aaron Pressley missed AFC Wimbledon’s 4-0 defeat away at Bolton Wanderers. The forward will look to be back in action in the coming weeks following injury as the side sit 20th in table.
Ellery Balcombe’s Bromley had their match postponed in the National League against Kings Lynn Town due to a waterlogged pitch.
Mads Bidstrup made his competitive debut for FC Nordsjælland as they retuned to league action against Brøndby IF. Mads played 88 minutes as two second half goals won it for Brøndby. FC Nordsjælland are at home to Randers next and they sit 10th in league table.
Also in Denmark, Luka Racic started for HB Køge in their 3-0 friendly defeat to Lyngby. The side return to league action on Sunday and they currently sit seventh in the Danish First Division.
In Turkey, Halil Dervişoğlu was an unused substitute for Galatasaray as they drew 1-1 at home to Kayserispor. Miguel Cardoso put the away side in front on 69 minutes but Mostafa Mohamed found the net to seal a point five minutes from time.
Joel Valencia got an assist for AD Alcorcón as they held Fuenlabrada to a 2-2 draw. Joel was a second half substitute and it took him just a few minutes to provide for Jose Jurado before Emmanuel Appeh ensured the match finished 2-2. The side return to action on Sunday against Ponferradina.
Finally, Lachlan Brook played 63 minutes in Adelaide United’s 4-1 away defeat to Macarthur. United actually went ahead on 20 minutes but the home side equalised just before the break. Three goals in the later stages of the game gave them the win and all three points as Adelaide sit third in the table. They are at home to Central Coast Mariners on Saturday.
