It was 1-1 just before the break before Luka netted the winner with an improvised finish at the far post as he flicked the ball beyond the keeper. The win gets the side off to a positive start following their winter break and they sit sixth in the table. Luka will be aiming for more minutes when they head to bottom side Hobro on Friday.

Also in Denmark, Mads Bidstrup gained 81 minutes for FC Nordsjælland in their 0-0 draw at home to Randers. The side are without a win since returning to league action the week before and will be aiming for all three points when they face AGF Aarhus on Monday next week away from home. They are currently 10th in the top tier of Danish football.

In Spain there was a start and 84 minutes for Joel Valencia as his AD Alcorcón side drew 2-2 at home against Ponferradina. Joel and his teammates are currently bottom of the table and were 2-0 down before Giovanni Zarfino pulled one back just after half-time. Borja Valle ensured the side claimed a point as he finished from the penalty spot in stoppage time.

In Turkey, Halil DerviÅŸoÄŸlu missed Galatasaray’s win over Rizespor. It’s now back to back victories as they claimed a 4-2 win, but once again the goals came late for the side. It was 2-2 going into the final few minutes but Patrick van Aanholt was on hand to score his second of the day as he put Galatasaray ahead and Bafétimbi Gomis extended their lead in stoppage time. The side are away at Konyaspor on Saturday and they sit 12th in the league table.

There was also a late win for Adelaide United as Lachlan Brook featured from the bench for the final half hour in what was a 2-1 victory. The sides were level at 1-1 after Adelaide’s Hiroshi Ibusuki cancelled out a first half opener for the away side. Nestory Irankunda then grabbed the winner in stoppage time to grab all three points as the side sit fourth and they will now focus on a match away at Perth Glory on Sunday.

Back in the UK, Dom Thompson played 90 minutes for Ipswich Town in their 1-1 draw away at Morecambe. They were 1-0 down going into the final four minutes before We Burns equalised to ensure the side gained a point. They will now turn their attentions to a match away from home at Fleetwood on Saturday.

Aaron Pressley featured for 19 minutes from the bench in a 2-2 draw with Doncaster Rovers. The Dons were 2-0 ahead after 49 minutes but Rovers hit back with two quickfire goals from Tommy Rowe three minutes apart. The Dons are 20th in the league table and are away at Wigan on Saturday.

Marcus Forss wasn’t involved for Hull City in their 3-0 away win at Peterborough whilst Charlie Goode missed Sheffield United’s 1-0 defeat way at Millwall through suspension. Ellery Balcombe also did not feature for Bromley as they drew 2-2 with Weymouth on Tuesday last week. Next up for them is Torquay United on Saturday.
