Starting in the Sky Bet Championship, there was an hour for Marcus Forss on Tuesday as Hull City picked up a defeat at home to Barnsley. Callum Styles grabbed the opener before Carlton Morris found the net in first half stoppage time to leave Hull 20th in the league table ahead of their match with Peterborough United away from home this weekend.

There was a win for Sheffield United on Wednesday evening as they claimed victory with a late finish from Ben Davies. United were reduced to 10 men when Charlie Goode was sent off for a foul on Reda Khadra on 66 minutes. The side will now prepare for a match away at Millwall this weekend and they currently sit in sixth position.

Looking at Sky Bet League One, Aaron Pressley made his return from injury for AFC Wimbledon with 13 minutes of game time on Tuesday night in what was a 0-0 draw with Gillingham. The B Team forward will now look to keep building minutes to help The Dons climb higher than their current position of 20th. They will face Doncaster Rovers at home this weekend.

In the same division there was 65 minutes for Dom Thompson for Ipswich Town. That match also finished goalless but the side are five games unbeaten as they sit ninth in the table. They make the trip to Morecambe on Saturday looking to extend their positive run.

Bromley were in action in the National League as they drew 2-2 with Weymouth away from home. Ellery Balcombe wasn’t involved for the side, who are seventh in the league table, and will now look towards a trip to Devon this weekend to face Torquay United.

Outside of the UK, Monday saw Galatasaray pick up a much needed win away at Göztepe S.K. in dramatic fashion. Two very late penalties from Bafétimbi Gomis gave the side a 3-2 win having been 2-1 down going into the final 20 minutes. Halil DerviÅŸoÄŸlu played 62 minutes on the night and the side are 13th in the league table. Next up for them is a home match with Rizespor on Sunday.

Looking ahead, Mads Bidstrup will be aiming for another start after impressing in his first competitive match for FC Nordsjælland recently. The side will face Randers as they look to bounce back from their defeat to Brøndby. Luka Racic could well make his competitive debut for HB Køge as they restart their league campaign against Jammerbugt.

In Spain, Joel Valencia will be aiming for more minutes and to build on his assist last time out as AD Alcorcón face Ponferradina on Sunday, whilst in Australia, Lachlan Brook could feature when Adelaide United return to action as they look to bounce back from a 4-1 defeat last time out against Macarthur. They will host Central Coast Mariners and they are currently fourth in the league table on 18 points.
