Young Bees set for London Senior Cup Final

25 April 2022

Brentford B will face Hendon FC in the Final of the London FA Senior Cup on Tuesday evening at Champion Hill in a 7:45pm kick-off.

The side will look to lift their first piece of silverware this season having narrowly missed out earlier this month in the Final of the Middlesex Senior Cup on penalties.

The young Bees have just returned from a short tour in Spain and they’ll be aiming for victory over the Southern League Premier Division South side.

About Hendon

Hendon compete in the Southern League Premier Division South and they are currently 16th in the league table having collected 47 points from 42 games. They go into the match following a 6-0 win over Merthyr Town at home at the weekend. That win saw them bounce back from three successive defeats against the likes of Kings Langley, Farnborough and Dorchester.

Last Time We Met

Neil MacFarlane's team actually met Hendon in the Final of this competition in September 2020 as the competition was carried over from the 2019/20 season. The match was goalless and went to extra-time when Shaun Lucien found the net to give Hendon the win. The sides then met in October 2020 as part of the 2020/21 tournament and it was a much improved result for The Bees as they ran out 6-2 winners away from home in the Second Round.

Joe Adams netted inside five minutes before Valgeir Valgeirsson, Alex Gilbert, Aaron Pressley and Lewis Gordon also found the net.
