The young Bees will be pushing to challenge for more silverware in a campaign which has had many highlights so far.

The Journey So Far

The B Team’s first match in this competition saw them head to take on Fisher FC where they claimed a 2-0 win on the road. The goals came from Dom Jefferies and Tristan Crama under the lights which set them up with a match against Harrow Borough. A tight affair saw the game level at 1-1 after 90 minutes but The Bees kept their cool as they collected a 5-4 win on penalties. Dartford awaited the side in the Quarter-Final and it was Ryan Trevitt and Nathan Young-Coombes who earned the victory for the team to set up the Semi-Final. The winner of Tuesday’s game will face Hendon FC in the Final after they beat Haringey Borough.

Neil MacFarlane’s thoughts

Discussing the match and his side’s current run, the B Team Head Coach said: “We’ve got a fantastic run of fixtures moving towards the end of the season and that’s why using the facilities at Pennyhill Park will really help to push the players on too. The players can be satisfied with the work they have done over the course of the season but we always want more. With a Semi-Final on Tuesday, a Cup Final next week, hopefully the boys can earn some silverware which will justify their efforts in what has been a season where we have seen some unbelievable displays.”
