There was a point for Joel Valencia's AD Alcorcón in Spain as he started and played 70 minutes in a 1-1 draw with Sporting de Gijón. Joel's team went ahead on two minutes through Giovanni Zarfino but Victor Campuzano levelled just after the hour. AD Alcorcón are away at FC Cartagena on Saturday and they remain bottom of the second tier in Spain.

Meanwhile, Turkish giants Galatasaray faced Fenerbahçe S.K. away from home where they were beaten 2-0. Goals from Miha Zajc and Serdar Dursun gave them the win to leave Galatasaray 14th in the table.
