Members to be given the chance to purchase Season Tickets for 2022/23

Several hundred Members will be invited to purchase for next season following successful renewal campaign

26 April 2022

Following the conclusion of the renewal process for the 2022/23 season, Brentford FC has released a number of Season Tickets which will be available for sale to Members.

Later this week, Members who meet the qualifying criteria will be invited by email to buy a Season Ticket for next season’s campaign. Those invited will be guaranteed the opportunity to purchase within the sales window which will open at 2pm on Tuesday 3 May and close at 5pm on Tuesday 24 May.

What qualifying criteria will be used?

Current Members who have at least 1,100 TAPs and have attended at least ten Premier League matches this season* (at least five of which must have been at home) will receive an invitation to purchase within the sales window.

In addition to this, a small number of Season Tickets will be ring-fenced for under 18 Members who have been to at least eight Premier League games at home this season* to ensure that younger fans also get the chance to join our Season Ticket fanbase.

Seat selection will be made on a first-come, first-served basis for those within the qualifying group. Fans will have the option to pay in full at the point of purchase or pay 50 per cent then and 50 per cent at the end of June.

The overall number of Season Ticket Holders will be capped at a maximum of 10,000 to ensure that a reasonable number of tickets for each home game are available for Members to buy on a match-by-match basis.

Jon Varney, Chief Executive, said: “We are very thankful to all of our fans for their support this season, and appreciate the commitment of those who have signed up for the forthcoming campaign.

“Over 95 per cent of our fans have renewed, which is a fantastic response, so we only have a small number of Season Tickets available for sale to Members.

“We understand that this distribution of new Season Tickets is a sensitive process, particularly given the current level of demand.

“We have worked hard to find the best way to do this and have consulted with both BIAS and Bees United to create a reasonable, methodical and balanced approach. We do appreciate though that it will be impossible to keep everyone who wants to buy a Season Ticket happy.

“Our aim is to open up sales of new Season Tickets to Members based on their match attendance history whilst ring-fencing a small batch of Season Tickets for younger fans who have been regularly attending to ensure we encourage the next generation of Bees fans.

“Those who meet the qualifying criteria should look out for their email invitation later this week which will provide more details.”
