Teams representing Brentford FC Community Sports Trust were in action earlier this month. The Trust runs a Football Development Centre giving talented young players the chance to improve their skills. They played matches during the Easter holidays.

Brentford FC Community Sports Trust’s football programme offers young people of any ability and those with potential, an opportunity to receive a high-quality football education experience, enabling them to improve in a player-centred environment. Participants have the opportunity to attend weekly training sessions at multiple venues, delivered by FA and UEFA qualified coaching staff and represent Brentford FC in a structured development match programme against other professional club Trusts including Fulham, Ipswich Town, Oxford United and Reading. Matches take place during the holiday periods and do not conflict across participants ‘grassroots football’ commitments.

The latest matches involved the Trust's advanced boys team taking on Northampton Town. The games were played at Gunnersbury Park. See some pictures from the matches below. More on the Football Development Centres can be seen here.
