It was an excellent display from the young Welsh side as they claimed a 4-0 win with a hat-trick from Jack Vale as well as a goal from Billy Sass-Davies.

Joe provided the assist for Vale's second of the night as he played 79 minutes whilst Fin played the full 90 in Bulgaria. Nathan Shepperd was an unused substitute for the side on the night. The win places Wales in second place in Group E with four points after two matches. Paul Bodin’s side will travel to Moldova and the Netherlands next month as they look to build on the win.

Elsewhere in youth international action, Mads Bidstrup was a late substitute for Denmark Under-21s as they picked up a 1-0 win away from home against Kazakhstan at the Astana Arena. William Böving Vick grabbed the game's only goal. Having now played their first match of qualifying, the side are second in the group on three points.
