The 19-year-old Goalkeeper departed Brighton & Hove Albion this summer and will join up with Neil MacFarlane’s Brentford B to further strengthen the goalkeeping department.

Roco spent a short time on trial with the young Bees during the 2020/21 season as he featured against Salford City in May this year in a match where he saved a penalty at the Peninsula Stadium.

The youngster came through the ranks with Brighton after arriving at the club at the age of 12 from Portsmouth. He went on to sign his first professional contract with The Seagulls in July 2020 and also spent time on loan with Worthing FC to continue his development by playing men’s football.

Discussing Roco’s signing, Brentford B Head Coach Neil MacFarlane said: “Roco came in to work with us for a period last season and we kept tabs on him over the course of the summer. He played for us against Salford, and not only did he have a fantastic game, but he was also really good for the group. He’ll be a good addition as we continue to strengthen the squad.

“It’s a positive that he’s already been around the group and I think, like all of the Goalkeepers that we have at the Club, he suits our style of play and we look forward to working with him.”
