Kristoffer Ajer has retained his place in the Norway squad for their 2022 FIFA World Cup Qualifiers against Turkey and Montenegro next month.
Norway head to the Atatürk Olympic Stadium in Istanbul next Friday, 8 October, to face Turkey before hosting Montenegro at the Ullevaal Stadion, Oslo, three days later. Both games kick-off at 7.45pm UK time.
Kristoffer and his teammates are currently second in Group G with four games remaining. They are level on points with table-toppers Netherlands and two clear of third-placed Turkey. The top side in each group will book their spot in Qatar automatically with the Play-Offs awaiting for the runners-up.
The summer signing has started four of Norway's six 2022 FIFA World Cup Qualifiers, taking his tally of caps to 25 for his nation.
Saturday's thrilling 3-3 draw against Liverpool was the 23-year-old's sixth Premier League appearance since joining from Celtic in the summer. Kristoffer also featured off the bench against Forest Green Rovers in our Carabao Cup Second Round win.
