The 18-year-old made his Under-19 debut alongside Brentford B teammate Matt Cox on Thursday as England beat Italy 2-0 at St George’s Park. And while Cox was an unused substitute on Monday, right-back Oyegoke got his second taste of action for Ian Foster’s side as England and Germany drew 1-1.

Daniel was introduced on the hour, just moments after Bayern Munich forward Armindo Sieb opened the scoring with an overhead kick. However, that lead was to last only three minutes as a combination of Sheffield United’s Daniel Jebbison and Tottenham Hotspur’s Dane Scarlett bundled the ball home after good work from Aston Villa midfielder Carney Chukwuemeka.

That was how it finished as England’s build-up to November's Under-19 EURO qualifying round took another step forward.

There’s a huge day of international football ahead with ten Brentford players in competitive action today.

Kristoffer Ajer (Norway), Halil Dervişoğlu (Turkey), Marcus Forss (Finland), Saman Ghoddos (Iran), Christian Nørgaard, and Mathias Jensen (both Denmark) all face 2022 FIFA World Cup Qualifiers while Mads Bidstrup (Denmark), Fin Stevens, Joe Adams, and Nathan Shepperd (all Wales) have Under-21 European Championship Qualifiers to look forward to.

We will have full coverage of how they get on across our social channels during the day.
