Greece gave the ball away in midfield and a rapid counter attack ended with FC Midtjylland striker Gustav Isaksen curling home from a tight angle. 20-year-old Mads was introduced at half-time for his Danish Under-21 debut, having featured 22 times previously between Under-16 and Under-19 level. The Greece equaliser came 11 minutes into the second half, Fotis Ioannidis sliding home from close range.

Under-21 European Championship Qualifying action is up next for Denmark as they head to the Astana Arena to take on Kazakhstan on Tuesday afternoon.
