An opportunity is available to join the Football Communications team at Brentford FC. The Club is seeking a Football Media Administrator, who will work with the rest of the communications team as well as others in the business to ensure the Club is logistically able to deliver its media commitments. There will also be opportunities to assist with other aspects of the Club’s external communication in line with the successful candidate’s interests and expertise.

The successful candidate will be expected to work with the Premier League broadcast rights holders to ensure content sessions are delivered by the Club’s football communications team. They will also lead on media accreditation for our home matches and helping arrange opportunities for non-rights holders in line with the Club’s Media Strategy. The successful candidate will have an understanding of the media landscape, particularly the football media in England, as well as the Premier League broadcast contracts and the deliverables within.

The Football Media Administrator will assist in delivering the Club’s Media Strategy, particularly the football aspects. Primarily this will mean liaising with the Premier League, Club communications staff and the Operations team to deliver player content sessions for UK and international media. They will also lead on the media accreditation process for home matches, ensuring the Club’s commitments to rights holders and non-rights holders are met.

Organisation skills and the ability to organise others are essential for all applicants. Demonstrable experience working in a communications environment at a professional sports organisation, particularly in football, would be desirable.
