Brentford's Carabao Cup win last week earned a trio of our stars special recognition. The Bees reached the last 16 of the competition with a 7-0 win over Oldham Athletic last Tuesday. And three Brentford players were named in the Team of the Round after the victory.

It was a memorable cup night for The Bees, who made it to the Fourth Round for only the fourth time ever. Stoke City lie in wait in the last 16 next month. Marcus Forss scored four times and Yoane Wissa grabbed two while the other was an own goal. Saman Ghoddos contributed three assists while Wissa set up two of the goals as Brentford recorded their biggest ever EFL Cup win.

The Team of the Round was named a few days after the tie. It was drawn from ratings from the WhoScored.com website, which uses statistical data to judge players. Forss, Wissa and defender Charlie Goode were all named in the XI.
