With two weeks between games there is a chance for Premier League players not selected for international football to rest and recover. But it is not just players and clubs that will be using the period set aside for international matches, Fantasy Premier League managers will also be using the window to assess their squads. And the experts have suggested FPL managers should be looking at Brentford.

The FPL season, like the Premier League season, is seven weeks old. Players that are out-performing expectations have been identified by regular players and injuries are having an effect. The Premier League's FPL experts are using this break to suggest changes that FPL managers can make and have identified David Raya as a player to pick.

In a piece here, The Scout - who writes about Fantasy Premier League for the Premier League - has suggested David as a goalkeeper to pick. The piece names the best options in goal for managers who are picking a new squad over this fortnight. And David is on the list.

"Brentford's No 1 is the top-scoring budget player in his position," said The Scout. "Raya has earned 30 points across the opening seven Gameweeks, leaving him level with Chelsea stopper Edouard Mendy (£6.0m). The Spaniard has produced three clean sheets and earned a save point in four of his appearances."

FPL is live with the season underway and managers can make changes to their squad ahead every week. For the first time ever, you can put Brentford players in it. You can play in classic leagues, with total points deciding the rankings, or take part in head-to-head leagues, where managers duel each Gameweek, earning three points for a win and one for a draw.
