The Premier League will be helping young people across the country learn about Black History Month. Black History Month is an annual observance remembering the contribution of people of African and Caribbean descent. It is celebrated every October in the United Kingdom is an important way to mark black history and the Premier League us using its Primary Stars scheme to mark it in 2021.

The Premier League's Primary Stars scheme provides free, flexible and easy-to-use curriculum-linked teaching resources for schools. Using the power of football, the programme offers a host of free resources to teachers and pupils to encourage youngsters to learn, be active and develop important life skills. Special resources have been created this year to mark Black History Month.

Diversity on and off the pitch has been a huge part of the Premier League story over the years. A newly created pack for schools celebrates the contribution that football players of African and Caribbean descent have made to the Premier League and English football. See more here and below.
