With two weeks between games there is a chance for Premier League players not selected for international football to rest and recover. But it is not just players and clubs that will be using the period set aside for international matches, Fantasy Premier League managers will also be using the window to assess their squads. And the experts have suggested FPL managers should be looking at Brentford.

The FPL season, like the Premier League season, is seven weeks old. Players that are out-performing expectations have been identified by regular players and the way teams are setting up is having an effect. The Premier League's FPL experts are using this break to suggest changes that FPL managers can make and have identified Bryan Mbeumo as one to pick as he is listed as a midfield player but is playing further forward, scoring against Wolverhampton Wanderers and West Ham United.

In a piece here, The Scout - who writes about Fantasy Premier League for the Premier League - has suggested Bryan is a man to look at. The piece names the best options for managers who are picking a new squad over this fortnight. And Bryan is on the list.

"The Brentford star is finding his form ahead of the upcoming schedule," writes The Scout. "Mbeumo has scored both his goals this season in the last three Gameweeks, netting against Wolves and West Ham. Listed as a midfielder in Fantasy, he has played as a striker this season, partnering Ivan Toney (£6.3m) in the Bees’ 3-5-2 formation. At a cost of only £5.5m and owned by just 1.3 per cent, Mbeumo could be a key differential for the upcoming period."

FPL is live with the season underway and managers can make changes to their squad ahead every week. For the first time ever, you can put Brentford players in it. You can play in classic leagues, with total points deciding the rankings, or take part in head-to-head leagues, where managers duel each Gameweek, earning three points for a win and one for a draw.
