Neil MacFarlane's squad went unbeaten in September, beating Queens Park Rangers and Forest Green Rovers along the way. They will undoubtedly want to continue their strong form as they take on a Barnet side they last met in February 2019.

The game is being played at Brentford's Jersey Road training ground but is strictly behind closed doors.

LAST TIME WE MET

The B Team travelled to The Hive the last time these two teams met. That night, Brentford B booked a place in the Middlesex FA Senior Cup Final thanks to a 5-0 win in rainy north London conditions. Marcus Forss and Kolbeinn Finnsson both scored twice as Jaakko Oksanen completed the rout for Lars Friis' side.

NEIL MACFARLANE'S THOUGHTS

After a 1-1 draw with Charlton Athletic U23s, the Head Coach spoke about the development of his players this season and what he hopes for moving forward.

"We're growing as a team and we're always looking to get better. Each month we see progression and that's what you want as a coaching staff. We have to keep looking to get better and better, including those final moments in front of goal. I have absolutely no complaints with anybody in the group."

TEAM NEWS

MacFarlane will be without six international players. Matthew Cox and Daniel Oyegoke are away with England Under-19s. Nathan Shepperd, Fin Stevens and Joe Adams are also away with Wales Under-21s. Val Adedokun is with Republic of Ireland's Under-19s.
