Halil featured for the first 72 minutes against Marseille in the UEFA Europa League in their 0-0 draw away from home. The side are now top of Group E and they return to league action on Sunday away at Rizespor. The side are currently 10th in the league table.

As for Aaron, there was a midweek defeat in Rotherham as AFC Wimbledon were beaten 3-0 on the road. The young Brentford B forward earned 90 minutes of game time but goals from Will Grigg and Michael Smith (2) secured all three points for United. Wimbledon will now look to bounce back against Burton Albion on Saturday.

As for Burton, they were in midweek action at home as they helped themselves to a 2-1 win over Portsmouth. Goals from Tom O’Connor and Daniel Jebbison in each half put the side very much in charge. Reece Hackett-Fairchild netted for the away side but they were unable to get back into the game. Ellery Balcombe was an unused substitute on the night.

There could be more game time for Patrik Gunnarsson this weekend as his Viking FK side host Sandfjord on Saturday. They are currently sixth in the Eliteserian after their 2-2 draw with Molde last time out.

In Sky Bet League Two, Alex Gilbert will head to Bristol Rovers on Saturday and he’ll look to continue to get more minutes after a promising start.

As for Jaakko Oksanen, his Greenock Morton side will take on Arbroath on Saturday. The side are currently eighth in the league table, and having gained lots of minutes in recent weeks, the young midfielder will be aiming for more.
