As this memorable first season in the Premier League continues, the fact that we are playing in front of a full house every week with an incredible atmosphere makes every match a special occasion. However, it is of utmost importance to us to protect this environment for our fans and not allow the so-called ‘secondary market’ to profit from our matchdays or for away fans to access home areas by purchasing tickets this way.

In order to ensure fair access for as many true Brentford fans as possible each week, giving Thomas Frank and our players the best possible advantage, we would like to remind fans that under England and Wales law under The Criminal Justice and Public Order Act 1994, it is illegal to sell, or to offer to sell, tickets to Brentford Football Club matches without the authorisation of Brentford FC.

Brentford FC is committed to tackling ticket touting, and those individuals that fraudulently sell tickets and memberships for their own profit. We have a dedicated team that investigates both online and offline illegal ticket sales and employs a range of tactics and enforcement measures to help combat ticket touting and prevent away fans from getting access to tickets in home areas of the ground.

We are sorry to say that some My Bees Memberships have been cancelled for breaching the terms and conditions and we will ask some members to provide the name and address of their guests if we suspect them of selling tickets on the secondary market at inflated price.

What’s more we’d like to inform fans that ‘Print at Home’ tickets that have been edited (i.e. to show the wrong price or not showing the price) will not give you access to the ground. Likewise, tickets bought on secondary market may also be ‘print at home’ tickets which have been printed more than one or fake tickets. So please do not purchase tickets anywhere other than from our Box Office and official websites: tickets.brentfordfc.com and exchange.brentfordfc.com.

While Season Ticket Holders who can’t attend our home match can place their ticket on the Ticket Exchange or transfer their ticket to friends and family, we would like to remind My Bees Members about the terms and conditions for Match Tickets:

3.1 The Home Match Ticket is issued for your sole use and except as provided by clause 3.3 below you shall not offer to resell, resell, assign or transfer or lend it or the benefit of it to any other person. In particular, you may not offer your Ticket as a prize in a promotion or competition or as part of a hospitality package without the express written permission of the Club.

In the event that you and/or your Guest are unable to use any Home Match Ticket then you may transfer that Home Match Ticket(s) to a person known to you personally who would be entitled (under the Terms & Conditions of Issue) to purchase such Home Match Ticket and attend such Match PROVIDED THAT such transfer does not take place in consideration of payment or benefit in excess of the face value of the Home Match Ticket, and such transfer does not take place in the course of any business or for the purpose of facilitating any third party's business. Such transfer must not be to a supporter of the visiting club at any Match and will in any event be subject to the Terms & Conditions of Entry which will apply to the transferee as if he were the original purchaser of the Home Match Ticket and you must inform the transferee of this. You may be asked to provide the name and address of the transferee when asked to do so by any official, steward or employee of the Club or any police officer.

Our supporters have been amazing so far this season, with only a very small number of issues. We want that to continue and to ensure that our stadium remains welcoming and respectful for all. That’s why we are making it very clear that fans contravening the above regulations could face penalties or a ban from the Club and ultimately the removal of their Membership. In some cases, the matter will be reported to the Police for criminal prosecution.

We hope these actions help to ensure the ongoing passionate but respectful atmosphere at our stadium. More information for Season Ticket Holders and Premium Seat Holders can be found here. This includes some important information about Ticket Transfer and Ticket Exchange.
