Brentford FC will be represented at a fan event taking place next week. On Monday, 4 October, London clubs, the FA, the Premier League, and fan groups will come together to discuss how football can move from LGBTQ+ allyship to action. Brentford FC staff and fans from our LGBeeT group will be in attendance.

The event will be at Stamford Bridge and hosted by Clare Balding on Monday. Following collaboration across the London clubs and football authorities, the seminar will consist of three sessions, with the aim of improving dialogue. The evening will include a chance for the groups to get together and they will discuss the following principal questions:

Other clubs taking part in the seminar include Arsenal, Crystal Palace, Fulham, Millwall, QPR, Tottenham, Watford and West Ham – as well as representatives from the FA and the Premier League. Members of other LGBTQ+ fan groups will also be present, along with organisations such as Kick It Out and Stonewall FC. More on our LGBeeT group can be seen here and on Twitter here.
