There is just one week left to enter a ballot for tickets for the major football event of next summer, which will have games at our stadium.Fans are already gearing up for another huge summer of football with more than 140,000 tickets sold for the UEFA Women’s EURO England 2022. Four matches at the tournament will be played at our new stadium and these have now been confirmed.

As can be seen below, Brentford will host matches on 8, 12 and 16 July in Group B of the event next summer. Denmark, Germany and Spain will all play two matches at our stadium. We will also host a Quarter Final tie, that may involve England if they finish second in Group A, on 21 July.

Our first game is a tantalising clash between the most successful EURO nation of all time, Germany and 2017’s runners-up Denmark. We will also stage Germany’s fixture against Spain in what is being coined the group of death. Denmark and Spain then face off on matchday three before fans have the chance to take in a Quarter Final.

The ticket ballot application window is now officially open for those that want to be there. The public ballot will close on 16 November and remaining tickets will go on general sale from mid-February 2022. The showcase final takes place at Wembley on July 31 and with the women’s game profile continuing to sky-rocket, the total attendance record for a UEFA Women’s EURO – currently 240,045 for Netherlands 2017 – is expected to be more than doubled.

The tournament will take place up and down the country across nine English cities in ten stadiums including Old Trafford, St Mary’s and Stadium MK with the final at Wembley. The tournament, which is due to be the biggest women’s European sport event ever, will have over 700,000 tickets available across the ten venues, with prices ranging from £5 to £50. The opening match between England and Austria will take place at Old Trafford on 6 July 2022.
