Brentford B’s Val Adedokun has been named in the Republic of Ireland Under-19 squad ahead of UEFA European Championship Qualifiers this month.
The side will head to Bulgaria to play their three qualifying fixtures as they aim to make it to the Elite Round of qualifying by progressing as one of the top two teams in the group.
The Irish will play their first match on 10 November against Montenegro before they play Bosnia and Herzegovina on Saturday. Their final match then falls against Bulgaria on 16 November.
Val was part of the previous Ireland international camp in Marbella as they played two matches against Sweden. The youngster, who signed for Brentford B from Dundalk earlier this year, started the second match against The Swedes and played 84 minutes in the 1-1 draw.
The youngster recently featured for the young Bees on Friday night as they took on Woking FC from the National League. So far this season Val has played seven times for Neil MacFarlane's group.
