Premier League use player stats to help youngsters learn

The Premier League's Primary Stars project has outlined some of the ways it is helping schools keep children active. The Premier League's Primary Stars scheme provides free, flexible and easy-to-use curriculum-linked teaching resources for schools. Using the power of football, the programme offers a host of free resources to teachers and pupils to encourage youngsters to learn, be active and develop important life skills.

Over the past few weeks, the project has released some of what it is offering to schools. One way is with a season statistics dashboard for mathematics lessons. Stats for clubs and individual players are available.

The dashboard brings maths alive for children using real-world information. Local youngsters can see how Brentford players rank. See the dashboard here and more information below.
