The Premier League has provided a way to keep children active at home and at school. The Premier League's Primary Stars scheme provides free, flexible and easy-to-use curriculum-linked teaching resources for schools. Using the power of football, the programme offers a host of free resources to teachers and pupils to encourage youngsters to learn, be active and develop important life skills.
Over the past few weeks, the project has released some of what it is offering to schools. Manchester United have been helping out, creating workouts to try at school or at home. The workouts include a warm-up and cool-down and the team demonstrate with clear instructions to make them inclusive for everyone to have a go.
The activities are suitable for all ages and all abilities. Minimal equipment is required. See more here and below.
