The next round of Premier League games starts shortly and Fantasy Premier League managers are getting prepared. The first game of the weekend is at 12.30pm today, Saturday 20 November, and the deadline for FPL bosses to choose their teams is just hours away. And the FPL experts have identified Brentford as a team to look at.

Every week there are a series of tips for Fantasty Premier League Managers. This week Christian Nørgaard has been identified as a player that could help FPL bosses. In a piece here, The Scout - who writes about Fantasy Premier League for the Premier League - has selected Christian as one to watch.

"ChristianNørgaard (£5.0m) has the improving goal threat to provide managers in Fantasy Premier League with value over the coming Gameweeks," writes The Scout. "His potential for goals over the last four Gameweeks earns him a place among the top five midfielders for threat in the ICT Index, a feature in Fantasy that can help guide the strategies and selections of managers. His total of 13 shots in that period ranks joint-second in his position in Fantasy, level with Brighton & Hove Albion’s Leandro Trossard (£6.5m) and bettered only by the 16 of Liverpool star Mohamed Salah (£13.0m).

"The Brentford man’s nine shots in the box also claims a top five spot in midfield, while his two big chances matched in-form rivals Phil Foden (£8.3m) of Manchester City and West Ham United's Jarrod Bowen (£6.3m). When compared to his previous displays, it is clear Norgaard has become far more influential on Brentford's attack. He managed just two shots in the opening seven Gameweeks. Indeed, his minutes per shot have quickened from 309 to 27.7 over his last four matches and he has the goal threat to provide terrific value for Fantasy managers."

FPL is live with the season underway and managers can make changes to their squad ahead every week. For the first time ever, you can put Brentford players in it. You can play in classic leagues, with total points deciding the rankings, or take part in head-to-head leagues, where managers duel each Gameweek, earning three points for a win and one for a draw.
